Banquet '07 Highlights

Michele Tingley's show kept the whole crowd quiet (except for the "Awww" at the cute photos and the cheers at the championship banners, etc.). Imagine a room with with over 30 gymnasts being quiet. The show was that good.

Coach Paul gave his annual recap of the year, taking time to praise each and every gymnast for her success this season. Coach Paul had a lot to be proud of. He also introduced our newest team girl, Nicole. Welcome to the OTW Team, Nicole!

Booster Secretary, Pat, presented Coach Tammy with over $400 which had been collected from the team parents and girls. Tammy's house had been severely flooded in the flooding southern New Hampshire experienced back in May.

There was a lot of dancing to tunes like Cotton Eye Joe, the Chicken Dance, etc. as well as other popular favorites. Some parents joined in too, but it was hard to keep up with sugar-charged gymnasts. They danced like this for HOURS!

Coach Paul took to the floor, dancing with a very very young future gymnast.

Great Tag Day

It started out cool, but turned out to be a nice day. The shoppers seemed cheerful.

The team girls covered both Market Basket and Walmart. (some did both!)

OTW team girls showed they could be as good at fundraising as they are at gymnastics. They did an outstanding job!

7s' Second Helping of Victory

There were girls from levels 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 waiting with the 7s on the floor. As the announcer called out the second place team, the OTW 7s knew they'd won. All the 7s had smiles a lot like Jess does. They did it again !

OTW's Level 7 Team had a great year, but bringing home another championship banner was the best possible ending to a great season. Congratulations 7s!

5s start States

Left:Bad news: Team split by sessions age-grouping.
Good news: Easier to arrange gymnasts by height for marchin when there's only two of them.

Right: Paul does NOT fall for the old "Hey, look over there!" trick.
